I see your True Colours…and that’s why I love you! ~Joana Smith [Holiday Attire]

I had a vision of an amazing dress! And I was wearing it!

Everyday after Abilene and I splash around in the lily pond we ask ourselves how we feel,

and then we try to dress that way. This is what we’ve learned…

Abilene usually wants to wear flowers. And sometimes, she wants her skirt to be a shirt.

Remember: If the shoe doesn’t fit, don’t wear it! But it’s fine to play with it.

Ask yourself how you are feeling, what colour does it feel like?

This bright orange tablecloth is much better as a skirt. The pocket was stitched in our house

by Lindsay during the crazy hours of Hurricane Ike…

and when I wear it I remember that there are gifts in the storm.

Once you have your colors on, sing with all your heart

and your true colors will shine through!
