Bill Moyers on: The Story of Stuff & Daniel Goleman, who I met with Nawang Khechog last week.

Goleman at Google, TED, Bill Moyers…on emotional, social, business & social intelligence. Plus, music & interview re: Free Tibet with Nawang Khechog, who’s just about all better since his life-threatening car accident in India.

Last week I ran into my old dear friend Nawang Khechog, the famous Tibetan musician who’s played with David Bowie, Patti Smith etc at Carnegie Hall etc…it was one of the first times I’d see him since his life-threatening car accident in India a few years back. We were both poking around the beautiful old wood and brass-filled Boulder Bookstore when we nearly walked into one another. We went outside, sat down on some brick steps near a fountain that I used to play on when I was four, on the lovely Pearl Street Mall, and caught up.

And then, lo and behold, best-selling author Daniel Goleman walked by, on his way to a reading at the Boulder Bookstore. Only in Boulder. I used to know of him very slightly when I worked for Shambhala Publications, in Boston, back in the day—his best-selling Emotional Intelligence had put him on the map, and on the cover of many magazines, including The Shambhala Sun, which I wrote for once in a blue moon.

Here Goleman talks with that master of old-school (in the best sense) journalism, Bill Moyers, re sustainable business.
