I’ve known Gregory Alan Isakov a very little bit for a fairly long time—I remember seeing his handsome stylish self slink about the campus at Naropa University some years back. A quiet young man off stage, his full strong melodic voice is anything but reticent onstage. Great article in today’s Colorado Daily, with a great photo. Excerpt:
BOULDER, Colo. — Gregory Alan Isakov believes in cultivating his music and gardening careers.
The Naropa University horticulture graduate probably will spend more time on the road this year than tending to his gardens.
But that’s OK, because Isakov’s new CD, This Empty Northern Hemisphere, and his tours with Brandi Carlile are bringing his music to a whole new national audience…for the rest, go to the Colorado Daily.
