LOHAS Forum is a big deal green, lifestyle conference that comes to Boulder, Colorado each June. We’re honored to be playing an interviewing/video role for the second straight year…search “LOHAS” on elephantjournal.com and you’ll find the dozen videos we completed last year with the likes of Treehugger.com founder Graham Hill, ecomodel Summer Rayne Oakes, the head of Planet Green (where we dream of spreading the good word re: the green life via our Walk the Talk Show with Waylon Lewis) and many others.
Perhaps due to our Top 10 Green Twitter status (we’ve been honored to receive four awards in that vein over the last two months, and one for our green video series), this year little old elephantjournal.com has been invited to co-host a “tweetup” (happy hour, essentially) with Boulder’s greenthusiastic community and the visiting LOHASians.
All the info’s here, on Gaiam’s blog. Excerpt:
If you follow @Gaiam on Twitter, you already know by now that we’ll be hosting our first-ever tweetup with LOHAS and Elephant Journal at The Happy Noodle House in Boulder on Tuesday, June 16 from 6-8 p.m.
We’re really excited to host our first Tweetup and we’re looking forward to connecting with you at one of the coolest spots in Boulder. We’ll have some fun, LOHAS-inspired drink specials and we’ll be raffling some Gaiam goodies you won’t want to miss out on!
Those of you in Boulder probably need no introduction to The Happy Noodle House, where “Happiness is a full bowl.” But for those that have never been or are coming from out of town, here’s what they’re all about:
“Happy Noodle House is a unique restaurant whose inspiration is unmistakably Asian. Executive Chef / Partner James Van Dyk creates wholesome, innovative and delicious Asian inspired noodle dishes based on authenticity.
In The Bitter Bar Mixologist / Partner James Lee handcrafts ‘classic old school’ cocktails infused with the freshest ingredients. Each cocktail has been formulated with the goal of finding the perfect balance between your first sip to your last bite.
Happy is fresh, unique and affordable Asian inspired cuisine paired with attentive and friendly service and unforgettable handcrafted cocktails.”
It’ll be a perfect time to discover and connect with interesting Boulder tweeps that live healthy and conscious lifestyles, enjoy good food and great drinks, and just have fun!
