American Apparel sells DIY Tie Dye. But is it Eco?
Tie Dye is a classic symbol of earth-luvin’ hippieness, right up there with Birkenstocks and hairy armpits. But are chemical dyes, flushed down millions of hipsters’ drains across America, good for our planet? I daresay not. Still, DIY represents some of the best and old-timiest of fashion: personality, craft, fun, unexpected creativity.
