Don’t lock your bike to trees. It kills them. And: Cities, get metal guards on our trees!
Trees cool our cities, and our earth. They provide green respites in concrete jungles. They absorb rainwater runoff, which floods our sewers during big storms.
Bikes kill ’em. The bark is skin, and when it comes off, trees often lose years on their lives. What can you do? Don’t ever lock your bike to a tree. What can your City do? Put metal guards on the trees.
