The other night I was given an Evol (the new name of Phil’s Fresh) burritos tee shirt. Later, walking past the mirror at the Spot, I realized something about Evol (pronounced, apparently, E-vil). It spells L-O-V-E, backward.

While I’ll miss the original name, Phil’s Fresh, which perfectly captured the always-slightly-high yet healthy college crowd frozen burritos would seem ideal for, I dig the new branding, and I wish ’em godspeed in continuing to grow the organic, healthy to-go options nationally (Phil says they’re already in 2,000 stores nationwide, nice).
