With thanks to agent Mark Turner in NYC (and my buddy, Travel Channel star Ryan Van Duzer for the hookup with Mark), I finally, after two years doing a live show in Boulder, have a real meeting with Discovery Network’s Planet Green, the first “green” channel. Not a big important meeting, they aren’t gonna shower me in confetti and cash and champagne and gold…it’s just a meet and greet. Still, it’s a meet and greet with a fabulously intelligent, charming, good looking person over there, I’m sure—someone who will want a show that, for cheap (talk shows and reality shows are cheap to produce) will bring in all the big names in green and LOHAS and politics and entertainment, a show that elephant’s sponsors, for one, would love to sink their teeth into.

In any case, it’ll be an experience—it’ll be nice to fill ’em in on our world-domination-for-the-good-of-the-planet plans for Walk the Talk Show.

For the rest of the week, I’ll be connecting with the green and LOHAS and yoga community out there. And some techies, and old pals, and I’ll be biking around and just checking stuff out—all while working with staff on Skype and keeping our traffic pumped up, and going forward with plans for our next Walk the Talk Show, on November 12, at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.
