All beings yearn for freedom—not just we humans.
This is the cutest thing, and if I had a heart, I’d cry with joy at the sight of this first-tentative, then joyous rehabilitated seal released back into the ocean—where, like a friend of a friend of ours, it transforms into a thing of grace.
A starving Northern Fur Seal is rehabilitated back to health by Island Wildlife Natural Care Centre on Salt Spring Island, BC. Watch his release back into the ocean.
