People talk of ‘heading west’ to freedom, wilderness and adventure. From explorers to Phish-heads, swarms of people throughout history have set out for the left coast in search of fame, glory, and a good ole-fashioned party.
But this time, I’m driving east to freedom, wilderness and adventure. But rather than seeking fame and glory, my quest is to make art, to dive into random adventures, and yes, to have a kick-ass (sunshiny) summer.
Leaving my cozy nest in San Francisco, I am hitting the road and heading back to Colorado to make and teach art in the wilderness all summer long as the Artist-in-Residence at the Eldorado Springs Art Center!
With a car packed full of paintings, I journeyed out on a roadtrip through the most beautiful lands and breathtaking skies, snapping photos along the way.
