Where did you travel this year? What was your best trip?
Near… far… wherever you roamed from home, how was your journey spent in 2011? What new places did you explore? What familiar favorites did you haunt?

I started the year in New York City (3:00 a.m. Coney Island / 5:00 a.m. Brooklyn / 6:00 a.m. Newark). I will end it in Guatemala, most likely staring at the three volcanoes towering over mystical Lake Atitlán. Best trip? Hard to say. They were all so great. El Salvador in October, chillin’ at the beach. Austin in July, a whole month — plenty of TexMex, Dharma Yoga and Barton Springs. San Francisco in June, seeing all my old buddies. I have structured my life around travel, and I enjoy spending much of my free time on the move, traveling!
