Attending Yoga Reaches Out 2012 Yogathon in Boston was amazing and inspiring!

A morning full of classes and music with hundreds of yogis practicing, listening to music, dancing and celebrating was followed by Baron Baptiste teaching a challenging class in the afternoon.

Paige Elenson joined Baron, leading a series of partner exercises that brought smiles to our faces as we remembered the gentle power of touch and how powerful we are when we work together.

Eight hundred yogis came together to raise $226,000—according to the organizers, the sponsors nearly doubled the amount raised to over $400,000! This year’s yogathon benefited the Children’s Hospital of Boston and the Africa Yoga Project. If you live in Northern California, get involved with the upcoming Yoga Reaches Out event on June 30th in Richmond, California. This event will benefit the Children’s Hospital and Research Center of Oakland and Africa Yoga Project!
