After Mr. Rogers, Bob Ross was my favorite PBS personality.

I just watched this video three times in a row (and didn’t do my usual do ten other things while I’m watching). Its sweet, silly, encouraging happiness reminds me of discovering paints as a kid. Painting is such a great way to be present and creative without “thinking” so much. If it’s something you never (or rarely) do, pick up a $2 watercolor set at the grocery store and play with it for an hour (or grab a friend and some fingerpaints…even better!).

(Little known fact: I love to paint. I don’t do it nearly often enough, but I started because of Bob Ross.)
