She loved deeply and felt loved in return

But then he pushed her, pushed her, far, far away

She didn’t want to settle for just anyone

And she knew he was it when he came along

But then, he pushed, pushed her, far, far away

The love is still there. It doesn’t run away

But, alas, he’s no where to be found.

Will she find another genuine and deep love?

She doesn’t know, but she knows what love is

The door is open for her lost lover to return

But if he doesn’t, she’s learned a lot

And she knows if that same deep love comes again

If will be from someone who will not push her, push her, far, far away.
