If ever you wander,
Searching for home,
No need to look far.
Whether you’ve strayed
Or you’ve roamed,
Seek courage, look inside.
You may be surprised to find,
There’s a crowd in your head,
That crowd can be
Oh so loud, so unkind.
With no right to be there,
This home is yours to master,
Kick them all out
On their keesters,
Right onto their arses.
They’ve overstayed their welcome,
You are not their keeper.
Once they’ve gone from your home,
You can delve into your Self
Much deeper.
Find silence, be alone
Then, ne’er are you far
You hold the key
To the voice that
Lives in your heart.
Unleash its wings
Let it be free
Hear its song
Lose the key.
Become master, not captive
Of mind and home,
Cast aside worry and fear as
With the love in your heart,
Ne’er is your home alone.
