Bakery Work
Vincent Talleu
…all day. Where’s the (organic) butter? This guy moves with the joy and skill and grace of a well-practiced Joe DiMaggio or Michael Jordan: every movement precise and yet relaxed.
Which reminds me of how Trungpa Rinpoche talked about natural hierarchy—everyone finds their joy or vocation, or avocation—and whether rich or poor, high or low, it’s our duty to find something we love and can do fully. And whether high or low, rich or poor, it’s equally vital to the functioning of society.
And, the gent above reminds me of the synchronizing of body, speech and mind (a definition of enlightenment). Note the displays of joy and humor, of elegance and relaxation, of focus and beginning, middle and end (clean up, and eating).
Sneaky peek into the day of a happy baker making bread 😉
Flour, Water, Salt, time and passion, is all you need to make good bread (…you might want to get an oven also…)
