We always knew he was a rock star of sorts, but yesterday’s final farewell video proves just this.
In this video, Commander Chris Hadfield sings a most wonderfully revised version of the David Bowie classic, “Space Oddity” as recorded on board the International Space Station.
With over a half million YouTube views within the very first day, you can see for yourself why this outgoing Commander of the International Space Station was so well loved.

This was Commander Chris Hadfield’s final farewell to this, the great unknown.
And, there is no need for over-vamped special effects—as some things are just that beautiful.
