The human body is a miracle—it can take us from the mountains to the sea, it can cleverly store emotions and thoughts in all of its nooks and crannies and it can either hold us hostage or set us free.

And, it has the capacity to grow tiny humans.

While I have never experienced pregnancy, I am always in awe of the strength and power of the female body and the capacity it has to breathe life into a new heartbeat.

This series of images by Argentinian photographer Sophie Starzenski is beautiful and full of grace—and captures something I can’t quite put into words.
