I am a hopeless romantic.
Love stories that seem impossible are one of the (many) reasons I believe in magic and fate and deep, unshakable human connection.
This week, a craigslist post surfaced from a man who is looking for his ex-wife.
Married on a whim (for a whopping $30.00), they were married in New York. Annulled three days later, the couple stayed romantically connected for a semester, but lost touch.
That was 25 years ago.
Your first marriage (as I would hope it would be) is unforgettable; and fate brought this lady back to this man in a chance encounter on the L train. Though the connection was missed, the story is no less remarkable or romantic or inspiring.
To the author of this post, I hope you find this piece of your past:
