Write.
Write more, and write some more.
Write, especially when it seems hard.
My work and life are not separate and cannot be.
I need them both to meld to feel whole.
I love to write (and I’m good).
I love to teach (and I’m good).
We connect best when we are raw.
We are warriors.
We are passionate.
I am passionate.
Feeling alone is part of the process.
We sometimes connect the best when we feel we can’t, but still try.
We need to be vulnerable more than ever, now, in this virtual world.
That is how we connect (over our disconnectedness).
It’s our turn to move the beast.
Sometimes this is a delicate task.
Thank you, Bryonie (and elephants), again and again.
For helping so many shine, and for letting us be us.
For showing us the ‘how‘ behind trusting ourselves.
*Of course, I learned and re-learned all of these things from so many people, and continue to. But Bryonie has been by far one of the most consistent, persistent, loving and inspiring about it. She’s the main person who opened me up to really crossing over from just ‘working for a living’ to actually living in my passion. She never, ever gave up on me. She was there for me (and for so many) in a particular way that I don’t know that anyone ever has.
And I can’t wait to see what she does next.
