I Belong to No One.

Try to bottle me, I dare you.

It can’t be done.

I belong to no one; I don’t even belong to myself.

I belong to the world; to the electric, booming heartbeat of the entire f*cking universe.

I belong to scattered, starry nebulas, sweet magnolia blossom kisses and dripping buckets of poison-filled tears.

I belong to swaying tree limbs and scorching rays of glittering golden sunshine.

I belong to shocking realizations and crashing moments of damn-near unbearable heartbreak.

I belong to pain.

I belong to roaring hurricanes of raw, unfettered emotion.

I belong to pitch-darkness and bright-white light.

I belong to thrashing streams of emerald jealousy and fierce throbs of stinging disappointment.

I belong to long-lost gossamer dreams and iridescent pearls of expired hope.

I belong to love.

I belong to vast, unexplored beaches and salty, sandy toes that just can’t stay still.

I belong to wild-cherry wishes spoken at the stroke of midnight in barren, cactus-sprinkled deserts.

I belong to the past. To the fading present. To the fearsome future and all that will be.

I belong to falcons soaring far past cathedral rooftops and phoenixes rising fast from fiery deaths.

I belong to no one.

I don’t even belong to myself.

I belong everywhere and nowhere, because I feel, I feel it all.

I belong to the world; to the electric, booming heartbeat of the entire f*cking universe.

Because I feel, I feel it all.
