Part One of the photo shoot took place on a Philly subway platform.
Over a week ago I had the pleasure of posing in front of the lens of photographer Joe Longo in Philadelphia.
With Independance Day vastly approaching, this part of the shoot takes place on The Parkway. It was an amazing experience to be able to run through the streets barely dressed taking pics on statues and huge fountains (almost falling in several times).
Yoga photography has become so popular within the last few years. The interesting thing is the photographer and yogi have to be on the same wavelength or the photos won’t develop into art. A model that looks angry, flustered or exhausted isn’t very inspirational. This relationship, union, or “Yoga” that takes place on set must be organic.
Take a look as Joe uses his skill to truly “capture the light within.”
Joe has been photographing the world around him for over ten years. He has developed a unique style, and gains inspiration from everything that comes in to his field of view. Joe Longo is a Portrait Photographer, Kundalini & Vinyasa yoga instructor based out of Pennsylvania. Joe’s mission is to capture the true light within his subject.
