Movie of Your Life, Lights, Camera, Action!

Lightscameraaction!

How many takes to the reel you or real you? We can kick back and marinate in the essence of any movie on the big screen as we see the story unfold. We all digest life in our own way, just like we receive a movie played out right before our eyes. One of my favorite movies of all time is Defending Your Life, starring Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep, in a nut shell, it plays out the lives of these two actors in their own life in the afterlife. A comedy that left me hungry, more than any other movie. Unlimited food, no calories, apparently, it’s a perk in the afterlife. I literally laughed my ass off. I dreamt of overindulging in pasta, not that I wanted a sequel or anything, I don’t need a movie to stuff my face. Go watch the movie and see what you think about it.

I digested this comedy; maybe in the way we create moments in this matrix of a movie called life.

The movie of your life is the story you choose to live and tell. A reel of film or motion pictures of experiences that play out every scene of our lives. Do we welcome the end since there is a beginning? or do we want to keep the story going. Is life a sequel?

What is meant to end will end. We close doors, finish chapters and close curtains in life all the time. It allows us the opportunity to take on a whole new beginning. No sense in going looney tunes over something that is not meant to be or something that is meant to be. A part two only begins if you realize it was never over to begin with.

The power of and END is an NEW beginning. It’s like the inhale to the exhale, it’s a cycle. So be excited about life working in your favor. If you think an end is the end of the world. Change your perspective because your world is about to open up. Life may not have worked out the way we had hoped but that doesn’t mean we have no more hope. Sometimes we have the inner wisdom shouting the answers, responses or realizations. Know that the UNIVERSE is communicating clearly to get out of your own way and make way for NEW beginnings to come your way. Move away from the movie in your head, the story you keep telling yourself and the same song and dance that has had you dancing in circles.

Get on with your LIFE and live it to the fullest.

Nothing is worth putting your life on hold for whatever you thought was supposed to unfold. Take the stage, a bow, curtain call or whatever. Let the credits role but give yourself credit for learning the lessons that leave you ready for another story to begin.

“Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain” The famous line in the Wizard of Oz.

The wizard was not what everyone thought him to be. Sometimes we have to travel the path (the yellow brick road) to come full circle to see what’s really behind the curtain.

Remember, when there is an end and if it was great the first time around, usually a part two emerges, kind of like the Rocky sequels or the Neverending Story. We need these screenplays in life so we can play out the starring roles or parts so we can take it to the end. A red carpet awakening of the soul

Everyone loves a happy ending; it leads to a beginning.

That‘s All Folks.

Nope.

That‘s not All Folks.

Here is part two or scene two.

We write the script to our own movie in life. We can certainly play the part but the seasoned actor embodies the art of authentic self. It’s true. We can go through life playing parts, staring is roles that lead us nowhere or somewhere. We just have to know that when we rehearse our lines, it’s for real life. What we say or do on screen is one thing, but what we say and do off screen is another. We all have a story and not everyone understands why sometimes our lines come out a certain way. We can stumble or fumble our lines all the time. I know I can mess up my lines all the time. It’s being human.

If we really consider that as humans, we have a whole life time of what is going on behind the scenes. The old movies in playing in our heads. Old stories we have been telling ourselves. They become classics sometimes in our own minds.

The circle ⭕️ signifies the karma we create, eventually it comes back around.
Life is like a movie sometimes. We can rewind and watch over and over again, remembering the lines, like we were actually in the movie. Sometimes we can play out our lives over and over again in our head trying to figure out what went wrong or why life played out the way it did. Do we ever pose the questions, “Why did this work out so great? Why is life so Amazing?” Wow! Not as much as we would spend time on the movies that didn’t play out as planned.

The Sundance Festival gives you a chance to express yourself as an independent film maker. Truth is, we are all independent film makers in the movies of our lives. If you are allowing anyone to be the director of your life, then you are only playing in a low budget film. I’m not talking about the dollars to make the film but the price we pay for not being the leading part in our own story. We can lose our integrity, our sense of self, self-respect and even our sense of direction if we don’t choose our roles wisely.

If your journey feels rough, remember you are a diamond in the rough. You are the brightest soul just ready to break the layers that hold your shine back from your best life. The road less traveled does not have the softened path, it’s rocky. It’s a terrain that can make a harder experience. Remember, that whatever comes easy doesn’t create the greatest growth. We have to sometimes play the roles that don’t feel like the right fit until we realize what is the perfect part for us.

You are part of the collective consciousness of this planet. The lead role in humanity. Go in the direction of your soul calling you to the greatest show on earth. It’s your story to tell.

Much Love & Light,
