My scarlet compass
I trail blindly
Complicated maze
Unintentionally beautiful
Burning in my skies
Magnetism incomprehensible
Wistful in your darkness
As I command your truth
Roaring fears of imploding
My gentle tears cannot soothe
Light years before
I witnessed your demise
Breathtakingly brilliant
Lava pouring in my sky
Pieces of myself
Inside your super nova
Weaved togetherness
Somehow crossed over
Souls mended by invisible string
Decades apart
Your scarlet streaming finds me
Snatching the string at my heart
