There have been a lot of downsides to 2020.

But one of my favorite upsides to what has been an excruciating, frightening, frustrating mess of a year is the at-home concerts musicians have done.

There’s something so intimate and revealing and real about artists performing from within their homes—makeup-less, unguarded, unfiltered. It becomes all about the music and how their art can connect us as humans.

Norah Jones recently did an at-home NPR Tiny Desk Concert. It and she are both breathtakingly lovely.
