Best Magazine Cover I’ve seen in years.

Update: after FIJI Water ran an ad joking that it “wasn’t bottled in Cleveland,” the Cleveland Water Department proved that Fiji Water contained the highest levels of arsenic and other contaminants when compared to Cleveland tap water and other bottled brands (washingtonpost.com)

Mother Jones opens a can of whoop-ass on Fiji.

Was just at Whole Foods, after getting dinner at The Laughing Goat and running into Cowboy Daniel, when I was stopped in my tracks by a magazine cover…devoted completely to skewering one of the greatest examples of “Greenwashing” this decade.

What other greenwashing bs’ing companies would you like to see taken to task, and walk their talk? Recently, I’ve written on Starbucks (which I lauded for recent improvements, though I won’t patronize ’em, yet), Bear Naked, Silk Soy, Whole Foods (which I defended) and am preparing an article on TOMS shoes, one of my favorite companies.

What is “greenwashing”? Click here for more.

Click the cover below (after reading the title captions), for more. And congrats and thanks to MJ for using their cover to effect and provoke dialogue and, hopefully, positive change.
