Have you ever put off making changes in your life because you didn’t have the time or energy?
Instead, you paid for a quick fix via an expensive therapist, a course or a week in the Himalayas on retreat.
This behavior is one of the main reasons we don’t move forward with changing our lives or our habits.
The good news is, change can be brought about by creating small habits and sticking to these habits over time. This is true for any area of our life that we want to change from modifying our diets to improving our ability to manifest.
I call this ritualizing.
I firmly believe in the power of ritualizing. You see, when something becomes a ritual in our lives it means we do it without thinking about it. And if we don’t think about it, we don’t put up resistance by having expectations about what kinds of results we are going to get.
Makes sense, right?
Also, rituals help you get into the “flow.”
Flow requires consistency.
Luckily, many life-changing actions can take five to 10 minutes of time. This is great news for those of us who struggle to find the time to try out new things.
Anyway, here are some examples:
1. Visualizing
Now for many of us (including myself), visualizing is hard. I don’t really consider myself to be a particularly visual person. Staying inside the visualization can be a challenge for me.
But I have found a short and simple solution. I find it easier to supercharge my creative energies by turning them into a moving vision board with music.
One thing I suggest you do is to check out a website called Animoto and use it to make your own vision board. This format works well because the program allows you to add text (for affirmations). You can also add music and visuals.
I love these because after initially spending 20 minutes on making my own little movie, I have a two minute movie I can watch every day. Watching my video is a perfect ritual for the beginning of my day.
2. Meditation
Meditation is another thing that many people find difficult, (mostly because they think it is too difficult to sit still for a period of time longer than a few minutes) but it is something I highly recommend trying if you are serious about manifesting results.
Why?
Because it releases our minds from identifying with the usual internal chatter and allows us to come into contact with our higher selves.
So, who has time to go out and do a course to learn how to meditate like a Buddhist monk?
Not many of us, right?
But there is something we can do and it doesn’t have to take any longer than 15 minutes a day. That something is called binaural beat audio.
Companies such as Brain Sync produce these recordings and they can be purchased or downloaded from YouTube for free.
Without getting too much into how the technology behind binaural beat audio works, I’ll just say that it literally coerces your brain into a deeper brainwave frequency where a meditative state can be easily reached.
I especially recommend Universal Mind meditations to get you aligned with the Law of Attraction.
So, no courses or Buddhist retreats necessary. Just 15 minutes a day to raise your vibration.
3. Take Some Time to Review Your Intentions
Intentions are an often-ignored step in the manifestation process but they are so important that spending a few minutes a day reviewing them can really raise our vibration. Intentions are the actual reasons you set goals for yourself and are based on a universally-aligned feeling like joy or abundance.
Intention puts you in alignment with the Universe and guides you to a state of allowing. These things are essential if you want to use the Law of Attraction deliberately.
So how do you want to feel today? Abundant, joyful, loved, confident?
Then state an intention to feel those things. Then supercharge these intentions by thinking of an action that can help you reach that feeling, such as,
“Today I intend to feel the abundance that the universe has to offer me and I will do three things significant to my business/career that will allow that abundance to flow into my life.”
That wasn’t so hard was it?
4. Remember To Be Grateful
Gratitude is probably one of the most important mindsets you will have to master.
In personal development circles, there is something called the “Attitude of Gratitude,” which comes about when you set aside time each day to go over the things for which you are grateful. In fact, every manifestation expert I have ever heard talk about the subject is very clear on the importance of gratitude.
Gratitude is important because it puts us in receiving mode. The more we appreciate and are thankful for the things we already have, the more the universe sees us as being happy to receive and open to the abundance all around us.
So, go ahead and write a list of all the good things for which you are grateful. Even spending five minutes a day on this list lifts our energy vibration significantly.
There you have it. Four activities that produce significant results, and can all be done in the same time it takes to eat breakfast.
Happy manifesting.
