Ramita Anand

Ramita Anand was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. Ramita spent her first few years of teaching as part of a bigger adventure by moving to London and working in inner-city schools. She has almost 15 years of classroom teaching experience, including five in learning support departments at various schools worldwide. Her aim is always to work from a child-led approach and engage with children from a unique perspective on the multitude of pressures they may face at school, at home, and with peers. Her mission has been to create a learning framework that will guide children to foster their superpowers by using techniques that she has used in her classrooms, in one-on-one teaching, and in her role as a parent. That’s why Elevate.RA was born, an 8-week mentorship program, where girls can thrive on the key attributes of confidence, resilience, empathy, emotional intelligence, and the often-underestimated attribute of kindness.
