Here is the synopsis of Tell Me That You Love Me.
A talented painter named Cha Jin-woo (Jung Woo-sung) has had problems with his sense of hearing since childhood. This condition made Jin-woo since childhood reluctant to speak and prefer to draw when he wanted to express and express his emotions.
He continued to do this until adulthood. Cha Jin-woo likes his quiet world and always tries to avoid other people. On the other hand, he is able to use sign language when needed.
One day, Jin-woo meets Jung Mo-eun (Shin Hyun-been), a struggling actress after being fired one day on set.
Mo-eun has high ideals and an optimistic personality. She also prefers to speak for expression in accordance with her profession as an actress.
Jin-woo and Mo-eun’s meeting turns into a series of subsequent encounters.
Although Mo-eun couldn’t use sign language, it didn’t hinder their interaction. Mo-eun, who is attracted to Jin-woo, tries hard to learn sign language in order to communicate with him.
Thanks to his encounter with Mo-eun, the cold Jin-woo slowly began to express his thoughts and feelings with others.
The change is inseparable from Mo-eun who patiently tries to understand him. A sense of understanding and caring slowly makes them close and comfortable with each other.
As time goes by, starting from a quiet friendship, Mo-eun and Jin-woo inevitably fall in love with each other.
Although their relationship has to deal with various tensions due to various factors, both of them try to strengthen each other.
Tell Me That You Love Me is a melodrama series that focuses on the story of two people with very different worlds. Cha Jin-woo with his quiet world, while Jung Mo-eun with her vocal world.
Tell Me that You Love Me is the first series that Jung Woo-sung starred in after Padam Padam (2011) and replaced Bae Sung-woo in the final four episodes of Delayed Justice (2020).
The series stars Jung Woo-sung, Shin Hyun-been Kim Ji-hyun, Park Ki-deok, Park Jin-joo, and Shin Jae-hwi.
Kim Yoon-jin is believed to be the director of the series. He is a director who previously worked on the hit Korean drama Our Beloved Summer (2021).
Tell Me That You Love Me airs every Monday and Tuesday, starting November 27 on Disney+ Hotstar.
