Get ready to celebrate and show your support for what I think is the most exciting trend in sustainability: green jobs!
In Boulder CO this Sunday, 1/18? Come on out for a green jobs rally at the Band Shell (Canyon and Arapahoe). We’ll show our support for President Elect Obama and his plan to create 2.5 million new jobs in renewable energy, fuel-efficient cars, green infrastructure and education two days before his inauguration. Starting at 1:30 p.m., the event will include tabling by local non-profits, speeches by State Representative Claire Levy, Boulder County Commissioner Will Toor, and a representative from Clean Energy Action.
Wear green and bring signs! A group photo will be taken at 2:00 p.m. to be sent as a sign of support and enthusiasm for this movement to local and state governments and Obama. A short march on Pearl Street is to follow.

See you there with green beret on!
