If you missed last week’s Tour of Solar Homes in Boulder, you can still check out the 2009 Tour of Solar Homes in Denver this Saturday, October 3rd. Sponsored by the Colorado Renewable Energy Society, this event is also part of National Solar Tour, which coordinates similar events nationwide.

Take a tour of a sustainable community, visiting “Real Places for Real People” throughout Denver and other communities in Colorado & the USA. Homes on these tours feature the latest & greatest in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable building design. You need to register by 5 pm on Friday and the cost is $20 per carload – so, carpooling is clearly the way to go.

AND for the first time in Tour history: the Denver Tour will also feature a FREE Green Jobs and Career Resources Fair, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM also on Saturday, October 3, at the First Universalist Church, 4101 E. Hampden Ave.
