“We just got word that the UK’s Prime Minister Gordon Brown would like to update Avaaz members on the Copenhagen summit and answer some questions from us TODAY (Wednesday), before he sits down with Barack Obama, Germany’s Angela Merkel, China’s Wen Jiabao, President Lula from Brazil and other top leaders.
So we’ve set up a mass phone-call with UK PM Gordon Brown a few minutes from now, and everyone’s invited!

One useful comment mentioned by Prime Minister Brown concerned a concept called “common atmospheric space” from the Bolivian negotiator. Bolivia has a particular interest in the climate change phenomenon because of the effects it has on their water supply, as pointed out in this New York Times article entitled “In Bolivia Water and Ice Tell of Climate Change”.
