People have been saying a lot of things about Woody Allen this week and I’m not going to talk about him and about what I think he (probably, almost-definitely) did.
Instead, I’m going to talk about the dreaded Internet Trolls, and about how they’re constantly forming opinions about everyone, especially celebrities—and especially celebrities that aren’t just Woody Allen.
Yes, lots of people are talked about on the internet.
And sometimes these comments aren’t accurate in the slightest, or even in the spirit of sparking an educated debate, or to offer up an insightful point on an issue, but simply typed to instigate an emotional response.
Internet bullies exist.
If you don’t believe me, or even if you do believe me, take a look at these celebrities reading mean-spirited, but kind-of-so-unimportant-to-their-lives-that-they’re-hilarious comments.
PS: I think that it goes without saying that Naughty, Adult Language lies ahead. I mean, we are entering internet troll country here.
