Goats are extremely playful creatures. They will do things purely for fun and make up games to play between each other and with humans.

Interesting note: The very word ‘capricious’ comes from the word ‘capra’ for goat.

A story:

At the time, we had 4 pygmy goats, named Eeny, Meeny, Miney, and Moe, and a boer cross named DQ (Drama Queen). We had acquired something like 50 pounds of apple must after a friend made cider. We figured the goats would love it, so we tossed it in the pen.

They didn’t eat much of it right away, they waited three or four days until it smelled really awesome and fermented. Then they chowed down. If you think goats are funny, wait until you get the chance to see a drunk goat. They played, they frolicked, they climbed trees, they headbutted each other.

There is nothing funnier in this world than to see a rowdy goat rear up on his hind legs for a bad-ass fucking headbutt and then fall over backwards.
