mistress morning you tease me so
tracing lines across the floor toward my building anticipation
grinning at my frailty in a knowing manipulation
you know I long to come apart for you
plunge into your scorching rapture and drown
pumped up with delicious poison
until you set me free with those electrified lips and
pluck the locks bare
your seduction is masterful
and I am but the student
capable, captivated, carnivorous
don’t be careful with me lady love
you hold back and I’ll rip the walls down to get to you
persuade the air to part before us
and take you before a world of witness
I ache to be consumed
to shed the skin that holds me in and vaporize
your heat is my life force, my catalyst, my curse
a thing of spells
sweeping away, in one fatal gesture, the pain
of my isolation
