April 26, 2015 a horrific earthquake hit Nepal.
The news struck me. The only question I kept asking myself is how could this happen to this country.
Last March I went to Nepal and stayed there for a month. It was the first time in my life that a country, and not a person, touched me: the beauty of the Himalayas, the lakes, the monasteries and most importantly, the field of energy there.
One only feels a sense of happiness and peace in Nepal. Being surrounded by people who are transparent, kind hearted and loving, I felt at home.
During my visit there, I took about 70 portraits. I chose to photograph the faces that speak their innocence and transparency—the faces that tell the story of Nepal.
Today, and after the terrible earthquake, I decided to share those images with the world. I am sharing them so people can see that beauty of the Nepalese people.
I dedicate them to every child, to every adult, to every beautiful being who lost his beautiful soul in this earthquake.
