I don’t really know what channeling is, but it does feel as though these ambiguous ‘Choptalk’ messages are given to me as well as through me. My eyes are closed when I fish about twenty pre-cut slips of magazine words out of a box of thousands, and very little rearranging is needed to make sense out of them. Yes, I do more consciously pull another dozen or two for clarity. But it’s amazing how a theme will emerge, seemingly just by happenstance, as you see flying here in #37. Each time I reread a Choptalk I get a slightly different meaning, so they seem to maintain value over the years for me as well as for the friends with whom I’ve had the nerve to share them. (Some are a little put off by the ransom note appearance.) How about you? Do you think it might be worth the trouble to release them (43, so far) to the public?
