An intimate love relationship is one of the most beautiful experiences that two people can share. But if you’re only in it for what you can get out of it, or to fill an aching need, it will soon turn sour.
The purpose for a true loving relationship is two-fold. Firstly, it’s there for you to enjoy the beauty and pleasure of love. And secondly, it’s so you can grow emotionally and spiritually to become all you are meant to be.
An intimate love relationship is like no other in that it will cause you to go deep within to do the soul work. There you will discover your true self, how to make changes to your behavior that will strengthen your character, and learn to love unconditionally, so you can offer your partner the gift of love wrapped in wholeness.
You cannot advance in love without remaining unchanged. If you are unwilling to grow, you will only ever be able to love from a place of brokenness, dysfunction, and self-centeredness. And that is not a gift you really want to bring to someone you love.
Join the new breed of awakened men and women who acknowledge that doing the inner work to be a whole person, both for themselves and for the one they love, is worth whatever price has to be paid. You will never regret it because you cannot out-give love without receiving more back in return.
