I once met a Seaman.
He was the loneliest man in the world, the saddest man of the sea.
His sorrows had dug an entire hole in the sea and here he was sitting, stuck in mudd and melancholy.
He was just sitting there looking for the waves, instead of taking a jump and swim with them.
He no longer remembered that he could flow with the waves, he had forgotten that he came from the water, that he was a creation of the sea.
Oh, how he wished for the day when the ocean would find him!
He was yearning to be one with the sea, yet he was too afraid of drowning if he tried to merge with it.
The stream of life and all the movement that he was seeking, were actually the very elements that he was made of.
The song of his soul was born by the symphony of the sea.
He would not see that he already was an inseparable part of the sea.
And he got very lost in his loneliness.
Finally, the Seaman did not drown in the water, but he died in the absence of the sea.
