There is a sun inside of all of us.
Even if it is rainy, even if it is cloudy outside—whatever is happening inside us or outside—the sun is there, behind the clouds, unconditionally. The sun, in our case, is our basic goodness. The sun of our own basic goodness is shining. Our basic goodness is wakeful, it is natural, it is unconditional.
We can ride the wholesome wheel of life that is karma. Doing good things out of our feeling of basic goodness. Not out of the feeling of guilt, or trying to be a good person—but from a delighted sense of serving other people. ~ Waylon Lewis
