We Need HAM Radio

HAM Radio Is Relevant to 21st Century Technology

I am a HAM radio operator!  KM6UQP Linda in Mount Shasta, California.  Come on, #california, you just don’t remove Emergency Communications!  Cell phone towers can fail, the Internet can be hacked, and yes, fires can damage HAM radio repeaters, but WE NEED COMMUNICATIONS during Events, as well as Emergencies.

Yes, we HAMs help run events such as bicycle marathons, parades…. Who do you think calls the Ambulance, should a bicyclist get injured or dehydrated on a wilderness bike run?  Yep, us Geeks who can computer code, speak some Spanish, and YES, even telepathy!  Come on, California, you know I love you, BUTT it’s my job to Call You On Your $hit!  I am a California Girl, after all!

What kind of idiot is going to kill HAM radio!  I am a Communications Specialist! My Mercury and Venus are forever holding hands at Door #12!  I, Linda, am forever a channel of the Tech Angels!  I am told by The Voices, that Early 21st Century Technology is one of my Assignments!
