Pachamama or Mother Nature is a goddess who allows life on earth and balance between all beings. And the song is dedicated to Mother Nature and for all of us to awaken in us an awareness and understanding of the importance of changing our lifestyles.
The time of the new year falls between the two eclipses, the first eclipse was on December 26, the sun eclipse, and the moon eclipse is on 10th of January. This eclipse will bring awareness and inner peace as it marks the beginning of the transition to the New Age, the rebirth, the awakening of the responsibility we bear for the world. Eclipses, according to their astrological constellations, will have a significant effect on global society, so the Pachamama song also came out during this time to support love, compassion, joy and gratitude.
For Indigenous people or Indians, Pachamama is a living being, like a goddess, who takes care of the holistic connection of all living things in nature. It takes care of our health, our food, our breathable air and our drinking water. Today we know that the terrible consequences that we humans have with the modern way of life and civilization are terrible.
Pachamama is endangered, all the rainforests, the lungs of the world are burning. And they will burn even more each year, because the climate has gone out of balance. Pachamama also means balance, we humans are part of Pachamama too, and it is imperative and immediate change in our lifestyle that Pachamam could have been healed.
Recently, I also decided to carry out a project, a song to remind all of us of the urgency of change, and to remind us what concrete steps we can do to help Nature. There are no gods to save us from the situation we find ourselves in, and there is no more time to spend a leisurely life.
It is ironic that very likely we could stop climate changes only with a different choice of food on a plate. The animal based food industry produces almost 70 percent of greenhouse gases.
Animals are sacred and sentient beings – as the song sings. Humans do not need any animal nutrition, and we are in an age of evolutionary progression from barbarians to spiritually evolved beings. It would take six planets to live sustainably, as we live today, but we only have one planet and we need to nurture and welcome it. The song also sings about it.
With this song I want to support the youth movement – the efforts to raise awareness and protests of youth around the world. The song will go around the world, as another voice from many voices that are trying to draw attention and to shout out to the people and politics to bring about the changes that are necessary, not so much for us, but for the generations that will come.
