3 Ways to Up-level Your Mindset in Business

We all love to succeed. I mean that is the human ego.  However, in the grand scheme of things we also can approach success as the tool in which we can impact far more lives than we could if we were non successful.  Human conditioning has led us to take the lesser role.  To remain humble. To never toot our own horn.  In reality, if we reach for the higher role.  If we strive to take pride in our work. If we broadcast what we do from the rooftops.  It can impact far more lives.  It can reach the ends of the world. It can help millions (maybe even billions) of more people.  With that success comes a lot of responsibility.  The responsibility to lead with integrity and character.  To live what you teach.  To sincerely care about the success of others.  To love the hell out of your tribe.

So, you might ask, how can I up-level my mindset so that I am not stuck in the “Settle” zone and am in the true “Top” zone.  I am going to give you three tips that I have found you can use to up-level your mindset in business to a whole new level. Are you ready?

First, remember that others need inspiration from you.  In a world plagued with instant gratification.  With breaking news.  With sad stories in our headlines of tragedy.  We need far more upbeat and uplifting news.  We need to feel inspired.  We need someone who has a positive spin on how things are going.  We need someone who despite the chaos in the world still finds the beautiful daffodil pushing its way up in the harshness of winter to give hope of new beginnings.  When we focus on the inspiration we can be to others we lift lives each day and in doing so we actually lift our own vibration to a new level.  We attract more goodness into our lives.  We find that those who radiate the same high vibes as we do tend to stick into our corner and those who are low vibe energy vampires tend to weed themselves out.  This is the law of attraction.

We attract the frequency in which we vibrate. Have you ever noticed that when things are going bad if we throw a real pity party even more things bad tend to come?  Or on the opposite effect when things seem to be going really great and we are loving life more good things tend to flow in?  It is the same effect.  We attract what we put out.

Being a high vibe source of inspiration helps others and yourself at the same time.  In business this can cause us to attract those who support us.  Who want to see us succeed.  Who are going to cheer us on.  Who are fueling our passions.  Why?  Because we are giving that out.  Kind of familiar to the Biblical law of “You reap what you sow.”

Second, learn to practice self-care and self-love.  When in business we can easily overwork ourselves and extend ourselves to excruciating levels before we realize we are there.

When we drain ourselves to empty we cannot be effective in our business or personal lives.  We defiantly cannot up-level because we are barely able to operate at the bare minimum of where we currently are.

Human nature is to think that taking time out of your work schedule will cause us to be more behind or to not meet important deadlines.  Maybe we are afraid that our work ethic we try to hard to produce will be called into scrutiny.  However, I can assure you that in order to produce our best work we must be performing at our best energy level.  Succeeding in business is hard work.  It takes not only physical activity levels, but crazy mental levels as well.  It is not something for the faint of heart.  It can be compared much to training for a marathon.  You need to take good care of yourself along the way.  Drink plenty of water.  Limit caffeine.  Be aware of warning signs from your body instead of plowing ahead without caution.  For me, when I begin to get overworked I become cranky and headaches are one of the first physical symptoms that surface.  It is as if my body is saying “hold up, girlfriend, you need a break”.  I can either listen and use some self-love or I can ignore it to only end up with a more serious physical symptom at some point.  If you cannot break away for a day off to yourself, be sure to sit at your desk and do some deep breath work.  Learn some chair yoga. Do a five-minute meditation.  Go drink some water and check on your co-workers.  Take some time away from the reports, the paperwork and the endless deadlines.  Love you.  The old saying “you cannot pour from an empty cup” is true.  No need to be a martyr of endless giving to the point you have nothing left for you.  Choose to love you so that you have even more of you to give. See how that works?

Third, and lastly, you want to learn how to keep your vibe high.  For some people this might mean dancing around in your office, or playing music that is upbeat, or choosing to listen to a podcast that you find inspiring, or meditating, or honestly a combo of them all.  Every single person is different.  There is not a cookie cutter way to raise your energy level that works on every single person.  We are all unique.  All different by design.  We all are inspired by different items.  I love to see fresh flowers.  I love to hear upbeat music. I love to take a walk outside on a crisp sunny day.  I love to read an inspiring book.

Choose to raise your frequency in whatever way best fits you.  When you choose to do this each and every day you gain momentum in your business. As momentum gathers to hold you up energetically you gain even more momentum.  It is as if you are slowly pushing a huge boulder and the momentum makes it go faster and faster to your goals.  This ripple effect can cause you to up-level in a massive way on a fast scale.

People often asked what was my secret to being able to turn a business profit in such a small amount of time.  Honestly it was listening to my intuition and once I got the momentum started to never let up.  Stay consistent.  Even on your bad days when the last things you want to do is show up for yourself in a high vibe way…put on the music, blast it loud, and dance.  I promise you that consistent action will bring you solid, consistent results over and over.

Are you ready to up-level? You got this my friend!
