Joy Exists In The No Zone

Comparison. Expectations. Limits. Belief Systems.

The highs and lows of an ever swinging pendulum. Every day the outside influence of these external, uncontrollable factors rule our ability to remain present, focused, and joyful. Our personal contentment hanging by a string. Expect too much, get let down. Expect too little, feel underwhelmed. Compare our lives to influencers, jealousy and desire consume our gratitude for the blessings we have.

It is a constant bombardment of negativity that is sometimes wrapped in positivity’s wrapping paper. What we think we are doing to propel us, is actually stalling us from progression. So where do we find the joy we all deeply need and want to feel? We find it in the “No Zone”. No expectations, no external influences, no should haves, would haves could haves. We find it in saying no, to things and people that do not serve our highest good. We find it in allowing the thing to just be the thing.

We are so programmed by belief systems, the concept of time, and expectations that we have lost the reality of they truly are. They are subjective views based on experiences or lessons that persuaded our own desire, reality, and goals. If we believe something- because it was taught or generally accepted as truth- then it becomes truth. However, what happens when your belief system stands in the way of your soul purpose and dreams? Time is merely concept. The past was just a series of “Now Moments” that produce snapshots in our brain that replay to produce “past”. The future is just an expectation of what we believe (see where this is going). The truth is we have no control over the existence of time, and all we can do is allow it and accept it for what it is and what it will become. Choose joy regardless of the external and pre-programmed belief system we have had downloaded into our brain.

By accepting the “No Zone” we allow people, experiences, and goals to be exactly what they are. We allow the fruits of our hard work to grow into what we mold it. By shutting off expectations both internally driven and externally influenced, we have the power to become present in all things now. The now, the joy, the fulfillment is found in the No Zone! No we can’t control it, no we can’t predict it, no we can’t even go back and change it. But what we can do is KNOW that we hold the power to determine our present emotion, thought process, dedication level, motivation level, and belief system each and every moment. We control our No.
