How are they Bad for our health?

Junk foods are such foods which comprise high calories but this is not the only point to put under consideration while giving the detail account on the concept. Because the term itself has quite broader denotation so basically junk foods are being cooked and displayed in a way that they look more appealing and a person craves to consume more of them. That’s how the human psychology is being made a center of attention, while preparing these junk foods.

 

According to a renowned nutritionist in Amandeem Hospital, India. Dr. Sunali the various categories of these processed foods such as carbonated soft drinks and beverages, candies, salted snacks, fried fast food, sugary desserts and numerous junk foods are so high in calories and they are of no nutritional value. Apart from them, fats and salt are also considered junk foods. And whatsoever food item consists high quantity of these two major components.

And it is not necessary that all fast foods are junk foods for instance if we talk about a bowl of vegetable salad then it is a fast food but not a junk though. Because it doesn’t contain high calories or fats. So every food, let it be from any category, is only considered healthy or unhealthy, based on its composition or certain ingredients it is made of.

Effect on our digestive and cardiovascular systems:

Since we all know that majority of fast food items and specifically talking about soft drinks consist an excessive amount of carbohydrates with no fiber at all.

And when we consume them our blood sugar increases which compels our pancreas to deal with it as well, where it has to create insulin which regulates the proper and sufficient supply of sugar to every cell which requires it.

And dealing with this excessive amount of sugar in our blood is a lot. So every time consuming it can lead our body organs ending up into putting in a lot of effort. And it effects our digestive system so bad.
