I’ll spare you all the cute anecdotes so you can just get this in your belly.
It’s a super easy creation. I made it last night and only dirtied one dish. Winning!
Bonus: it was super tasty, and satisfied both my sweet tooth and Friday night boredom/loneliness.
What you need:
1 pan (greased)
1 teaspoon xanthan gum (not necessary if using a baking mix, or flour with gluten; it helps the more crumbly flours stick together)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
2 very ripe bananas
1/3 cup applesauce (use instead of an egg; egg replacer or chia seeds work, too)
1/3 cup almond flour (can use any flour)
1 pinch of salt
What to do:
Preheat the oven to 350.
Grease the pan and, in total bachelorette style, mix everything in it.
Mash the bananas with a fork. If you desire a more consistent texture, put everything in the blender.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes
Enjoy!
