Why it’s time to Acknowledge you are a Queen (or King).

“You should see me in a crown.” ~ Billie Eilish

Sing it, Billie.

That’s the kind of confidence dreams are made of. After all, we move through life based on our beliefs, and if we believe ourselves worthy of our highest desires, we are bound to achieve them. Or at least that’s what I’m telling myself as I’m attempting the whole “fake it ‘til you make it” mantra.

I’ve never been one to try it before; it always felt inaccessible and inauthentic to me. But now, I think it’s my best option. How else are we going to ascend to our rightful thrones?

We should all be asking ourselves that same question.

Are we being treated like the queens or kings we are? Because you must remember, dear ones, we are queens and kings. We are deserving.

I am finding that mindfulness helps me detect when I am losing my power or giving it away. I can feel when I’m about to give it up, or when I am claiming it. It’s an energy, a force that we exchange with everyone. Think of every interaction you’ve have. Isn’t it just an exchange of power?

So why not leverage our mindfulness and prowess to create a kingdom of our choosing—a kingdom of peace, love, respect, and compassion. A kingdom of music, art, creativity, where well-springs of joy and inspiration flow in abundance—whatever we desire.

I used to think being a queen meant thinking you were better than someone else—a snob, of sorts. It simply isn’t so. A queen is a woman standing firmly in her power. A gem for all the world to behold. The finest wine. An exotic vacation. The goddess archetype.

And doesn’t playing the goddess sound like a bit of fun?

To that I say, straighten your crown, my queens and kings, and reign on.
