Andaman and Nicobar Islands Tourist Places – My Experience on Visiting this Place

In this post, I am going to share my traveling experience in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. As I can see in the editor ElephantJournal does not allow to attach images therefore, I am unable to add the images of my travel Journey. Readers, Pardon me for that.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands is a union territory of India. There is a total of 572 islands. The capital is Port Blair. This beautiful island is one of the major attractions in India and the best destination for newly married couples for honeymoon.

The total area of this union territory of India is 8250 km square. The population density in Andaman and Nicobar islands is less compared to other union territories or states.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands

When I visited this beautiful union territory. I observed that the major spoken language here is Hindi, Bengali, and English.

The highest peak in the Andaman and Nicobar islands is the saddle peak. The altitude of this peak is 732 m. For someone, who thinks it’s a small island, there aren’t many places to visit. Then, you are wrong. There are too many places to visit in Andaman.

On the map, It looks so small that makes me think that there will be no Highway of length 50 km or more but I was wrong. Even you can have long drives in this beautiful union territory. When I had visited this place, In my tour package all the things were pre-planned.

On day 2, I go on a long drive of about 100 kilometers. We had to go through the area of the Jarawas. On this drive in the area of Jarawas, no overtaking is allowed and no photography is allowed.

NH4 is the main highway of this union territory. The total length of NH4 is 230 KM (approx).

Why anyone should visit this place? If anyone who wants to see the neat and clean blue sea, less crowded beaches (many beaches are almost empty), mud volcano, experience the beauty of nature, et then you can visit this place.

Please note that you have to book your tickets 2-3 months before because there are already many people in the queue who want to visit this location and another thing is that there is only one small airport that operates a limited number of flights in a day. Although, the construction of a new terminal is under progress.
