How do we heal, and uplift society? We change ourselves. We vote, then *stay active* for those with compassion who respect science and truth. We refuse to “go along with.” We change our minds, if we’re wrong. We meditate, and train our minds to be both open and discerning.
Educating myself, and yourself, in anti-semitism, and anti-racism, and anti-sexism, and anti-otherism is a good first step. And it’s an ongoing path.
Climate change is real. It’s here. It strikes vulnerable communities, poor communities, communities of color hardest and often first. Veganism is a step that we can control, and take action on, without waiting. It has the side benefit of ending an ongoing torture extravaganza, and being yummy and healthier.
On the other hand, perhaps we can reason with our enemies. And if we can, we must?
