Blenz is open. There is something bright about it, perhaps the lights are added-to/changed.
There is a party of 5 of Persian women sitting at the corner under the posters on the wall. There is a 2 years old boy with them. He is not the most graceful / calm.
The barista, a Persian guy in his perhaps early 30s takes the order: a large Soy macha latte. He says he is having a busy day. And that he would have liked some snow for the winter.
A young couple entered. A late-teen girl (is that a word?) and a guy in his 20s. They are sitting across from one another on two loveseats and talking gently. There is another couple sitting across from one another on the seats further back, talking and giggling.
A senior woman I talked to the other day about mindfulness is sitting at the SW corner and writing, perhaps about the course she was/is taking.
There are more people in the store now, it is louder.
Called and booked the last table at Frankie’s Jazz Club for the show tonight. It is not the best seat but the stage can be seen from there. Looking forward to it.
